Areas covered will include:
How to approach discussing the diagnosis
Improving communications skills and language used
The benefits of encouraging a partnership
How do cope with 'difficult' patients
Management approaches including the use of CBT
How do we get a headache when the brain has no pain receptors?
Why symptoms may mean dis-ease rather than disease
Why those with dis-ease also get disease and how to help them with education for wellbeing
